Can someone give me a detailed list of books for starters in College?

I want to study at home so can you list out the kind of books needed for the first timers?

I mean what books are included in the first year of college, Liberal arts or otherwise?Could anyone list the books out, the common books, in all subjects, from English to Arts, to Psychology to Science etc?Can someone give me a detailed list of books for starters in College?
You may want to study the books that are actually assigned to you by your teacher, so you wont be studying random material. Math books are universal though, so whatever level of math you're in, or feel you need to brush up on, you should purchase.... but as far as homework assignments are concerned, you would still need to buy the math book assigned to you by your teacher so you're doing the work he/she assigns.Can someone give me a detailed list of books for starters in College?
There aren't really common books....even if you look at a common intro science course there are different text books...and then all bets are completely off for something like a lit class. It's all based on individual professor preference--I've even seen textbooks vary for the same course, depending on which specific section you were in.



You'd probably be better off reading books on any topic that interests you so that when you get to college you have a better idea of what types of subjects you might want to take classes in (because it's impossible to study all the subjects offered by any school).
