The difference between two college books, please help?

For a class i'll be taking this coming fall, I need a book called Core Concepts in Health, Brief Edition. Now the school says I should get the 11th edition, but I've found the 10th online for much cheaper. I've read some things saying there is no difference between the two editions really, but I would like to know if anyone knows definately. Thanks. The difference between two college books, please help?
I can't speak specifically to that book, but usually there is little change between one edition to the next. If it was a math book with numbers and problems, it might be worth it to get the newer edition, but I'd save the money and go with the 10th.

You may want to double check reading assignments with a friend that bought the 11th edition because the page numbers may vary a little. The difference between two college books, please help?
If you have the professor's email, try contacting him/her. There may be slight differences (like questions in the end of each chapter) that would make it harder for you to succeed. Remember, you can probably sell the 11th edition for more at the end of the course than the 10th edition if you don't need the book for reference in the future. The difference between two college books, please help?
Most of the time there are very little differences in the text. However, find out if you will be doing problems or exercises from the book. Often these will be different. Also, read this article, it has great tips about college books. Good luck!

I'm using a different edition for one of my classes. So far I haven't noticed much of a difference.
