Does anyone have a ipad and use it for college books?

I am a early childhood and elem. education major and i was thinking about getting a ipad for my college books. Does anyone know if I can get most of my text books on it? I would love to have the ipad instead of all my books ,but I don't want to waste my money if I can't get most of my books on it. ThanksDoes anyone have a ipad and use it for college books?
Most textbooks are not in ebook format so noDoes anyone have a ipad and use it for college books?
From what I've seen, most textbooks aren't ereader friendly yet, but here is a good start:

Inkling http://www.inkling.com/

CourseSmart http://www.coursesmart.com/

ScrollMotion http://www.scrollmotion.com/

Classic literature and such is available for the various ereaders.

iPad isn't that great to read on, too reflective for most people. It makes my eyes tired after awhile (but it's really pretty). Amazon's Kindle is really good for reading, but of course you don't have all the pretty pictures. I hope that text books are available on some type of ereader soon, my son could definitely use it! I figure it would be worth it to get a Kindle and an iPad for different types of text books.

Good luck!
