How much do college bookstores generally buy books back for?

What is the average that a college bookstore will pay you when they buy back books that you purchased from themHow much do college bookstores generally buy books back for?
If the university close to the book store is going to use the book again then you can get up to 30-40% back. I doubt you will ever get more than 40% back from the bookstore.

But, if the university is not going to continue using the book, then they will either not offer you anything or offer you something insulting like $1.

If they discontinue your book, put it on Amazon or Ebay. A university in a different state could be using that book and you could get more than the bookstore would offer you anyway.
they rip you off and then rip off the next person by selling at high rates and buying it back at low rates. Go to ebay or amazon when buying school books, and if you sell back to the school you will make back only a portion of the value but its better than nothing. Also if you get your book from ebay for a good price and sell it back to your school you might make a profit. How much do college bookstores generally buy books back for?
about half the price of what you bought them for or less than that. you'll probably have better luck selling them on amazon or something
