How much would your College buy back your books?

I want to sell my previous semester books, will they buy my books back for a half the price or full? I am new to this.

I go to Baker College. How much would your College buy back your books?
The school bookstore usually pays pretty low for used books. If they're not in demand (they have a large supply or the class the book is for isn't offered next term), they'll barely give you anything. But expect less than half even if they are in demand.

If you want more you'll have to sell them yourself. Amazon.com and half.com are good places to sell your books. I've never personally sold through half.com, but Amazon is easy to use. If you buy a book used from Amazon and keep it in the same condition you can often get almost all your money back when you resell it (minus shipping costs and Amazon's commission). If you're really lucky, demand will go up or the supply will go down and you can sell it for more than what you paid.
The amount can vary on several factors: condition of the book (is it like new or is it falling apart; are the pages clean or does it have highlighting etc), and supply and demand. If it is a class that is offered every semester or at least once a year they might buy the book back for more than if the class is only offered every other year or less, in which a new edition of the book may come out before then. Don't ever expect to get more than half though and don't be surprised if it is a lot less. My dad always sells my books on amazon.com, because it is easy to use the selling feature and he can set his own price. If you do that though don't go selling the book for the same amount you bought it for or for an unreasonable price; first determine the condition of your book and then look at the prices others are selling the same book in the same condition for and put yours at a similar price. Amazon keeps a dollar or two from your purchase because they are providing you a service, but otherwise you will probably make the most money that way. Also, I recommend buying your school books online from places such as amazon or half.com or similar sites. You may be able to get a good deal on a used or sometimes even a new copy, and it is almost always cheaper than buying it from the school. Just make sure the isbn numbers match so you can make sure you are getting the right book. How much would your College buy back your books?
Half price, if you're lucky. I suggest selling it directly to another student or selling it online. You can easily get 75%+ of your money back that way.
They NEVER give back full price, check your school's bookstore for their pricepoints. How much would your College buy back your books?
You'll probably get more money selling them online...
