If I pull out that big wad of cash and other students look at me will they follow me and jump me for my cash or will I be safe?
I just like the feeling of walking around with lots of cash.I gotta buy my college books tomorrow at the bookstore with wad of cash?
where do you go to school? in the bronx you'll prob get jumped in rural montana your prob safe
It's a terrible idea to carry around $3500 with you at any time, regardless of its purpose. While you shouldn't expect people to try to mug you, there's a pretty good chance that people around you will be getting some ideas.
If you don't have access to someone's credit card to use, then I suggest going to a bank and trading the hundreds in for larger bills so that you won't be carrying around an inch-thick wallet.I gotta buy my college books tomorrow at the bookstore with wad of cash?
Can you transfer the cash onto a cash card or something at the bank? Because having $3500 in cash is pretty intimidating and exciting haha
If the cash card doesn't work, I would get one of those money envelopes and carry it in like and inside jacket pocket to keep it safe. And when you pay up you'll pull out an envelope of cash instead a THICK wad of cash.
:)
You should not carry so much cash. it is a big risk of getting robbed! Most people pay with a check or credit cards or check debit card. You should have your parents give you blank checks or travelers checks instead.
I suggest from now on you buy books ONLINE they are cheaper. You can get them used or new and they cost less.
www.ecampus.com is one site I always used. I used it for the free shipping (takes a few weeks so u have to order way before school starts)I gotta buy my college books tomorrow at the bookstore with wad of cash?
i would hope college kids are more mature than that, but if your really afraid of that happening then i would just keep it in your wallet until the very minute you have to pay, that way nobody will know you have it until its gone :)
have fun.
:D
You wont have that for long if that's what you plan on doing.
