Depending on the college, sometimes you can sell your book back. I go to a community college and can most of my books back. I don't know if your college does that but you may want to look into it. You could try selling it at a used bookstore, but sometimes they won't accept school books. Ebay will also work as their are poor college students who are trying to find a baragin on school books instead of paying full price. Hope this helps.
If your looking to get good money for you books I would recommend eBay (people go crazy bidding, especially if it's sold out at they're local bookstore).
also, half.com (cousin to eBay) or even some onlline site like ecampus.com, valorebooks.com, chegg.com
or you can even try listing on your local craigslist, that way you don't have to ship any books out or pay any seller fees.
Start listing your books soon though, because the semester is starting!
Good Luck!! :)I have a lot of books from college, what's the best way of selling them?
The best way to sell your books (especially textbooks if you have those as well) is to go on Half.com. It's an eBay owned site, but it's got its differences. You make an account, and you can sell your books on there. My sister uses that site and she makes tons of money selling books.
Also, the usuals like Amazon and eBay will be a reliable way of selling books. But I think Half.com would be your best bet.
if they are text books fo ryour course then asvertise them in and around the college, someone will buy them who maybe can't afford to pay full price for them.
if they are novels then your best bet is a car boot sale. sell them in bundles.I have a lot of books from college, what's the best way of selling them?
you should probably sell them at a bookstore that is affiliated to your school. or sell them back to the school.
Best place is probably to a local non-chain bookstore. I misread the question at first. But still, popularity is a factor.
