Is there a GOOD website to buy used books? Specifically college books.?

i'm starting college and the books are overpriced. Is there a GOOD website to buy used books? Specifically college books.?
I would have to agree that half.com is a very good way to go. All you need to do is enter the ISBN number (from on top of the barcode on the back of the book). You could also check on ebay.

I used to work at a college bookstore and they marked the books up 40% from cost, so I know they are way too expensive.
amazon.com is usually a good bet.

also, your school bookstore should have used copies of their books alongside of the new and more expensive copies. you might have to get them a little more quickly as they tend to sell rapidly, but they are a convenient way to buy used. otherwise, go for amazon.comIs there a GOOD website to buy used books? There are a few websites I have used. Just get the ISBN codes so that you can get the exact book you are looking for. I have used Half.com, Amazon.com, and Abebooks.com.

I've used amazon.com and have a good experience. I've used amazon for about four semesters now. Why are college textbooks so overpriced anyway? Is there a GOOD website to buy used books? Specifically college books.?
I bought all my books on Amazon and Half.com. You can also try the Facebook marketplace. My school had a book buying/selling program though student gov (not the bookstore) where students set their own prices for selling-- see if your school has that.
