I have a full pell grant and I was wondering if I would have enough left over for a notebook. What is the average cost of 2 semesters of college books?
Well, first of all it depends on your classes. Math and science books are expensive and if your talking grad school (Law) it get seven worse. On average you can expect to spend anywhere between 300-500 a semester so 600-1000 for both. The best way to save money is go to chegg.com and rent your books. It costs significantly less and you help the environment because chegg plants a tree for every book you rent. The bookstore will only buy back your book if the professor is using the same edition next semester and you usually only get back about 25%-35% of what you paid for used and 40-50 for new. So, save your money by renting and buy the notebook. Also, check with your school to see if they offer discounts through the university when you buy, mine did and I saved about $150. GOOD LUCK!What is the average cost of 2 semesters of college books?
Depends on if you are using the pell grant for tuition and books or just books. On average, books are around $100 a piece new. You can get them used or online rather than the school's bookstore. I would say books could cost you around $500 a semester easy.
