I am on a tight budget, and I need to know where I can get my books for college at a great cost. Please give me a link to any websites, if possible.Where is the cheapest place to buy books for college?
Half.Com
EBay
What books do you need? I have TONS of my old college books....that I didn't sell back because I thought I'd want/need them after graduation come to find out that nope, I don't really want them after all.
ebay and amazonWhere is the cheapest place to buy books for college?
I always search around. Usually amazon.com or half.com
Check your college bookstore-- usually they buy back last year's books from the students and resell them at a discounted rate--students also post their books for sale on their own--so if you have your school computer access code- login and check if there are any sites to purchase the books needed - or post a question on one of the school blogs ---Where is the cheapest place to buy books for college?
I used Ebay, Amazon, Half, and Barnes and Noble. With BN get the educator discount card. Then all the books are 20% off. With no shipping it can be cheaper than the others some times.
Also know that there are times you just have to suck it up and buy from the college book store.
May you be granted a discerning spirit as you look for books.
amazon is great..that's where I get mine.
Amazon (the used section), half.com, ebay.com. Try to avoid stores around campus, boy does that suck. I hate haw they charge you so much for a book and then when you ar edone with the class and you try to sell it back they don't give you anything back.
Textbook411.com shows you the price that all the online bookstores are charging (amazon, half.com, barnes and noble etc.) so you ALWAYS get the best deal!
halfprice.com
The best places I have found are www.half.com and www.amazon.com. Both sites allow you to search by the ISBN number to make sure you get the right book and the correct edition. Another good place to check is the school bulletin boards. Often students will sell them to you at the bookstore buyback rate or at least cheaper than the bookstore.
