i was considering purchasing a kindle. i am curious however if i would be able to purchase any of my college text books. it would be extremely convenient to not have to purchase all of those expensive books this fall.Does the amazon kindle carry college text books?
Yes, some textbooks are available in digital format and readable on a Kindle.
You do realize that you still have to buy the books in digital format, yes? Books are not free once you buy the device. Books in digital format are generally slightly less expensive, but not much.

You get some of the text books free still some of them you need to but books in electronics format. Price will come cheaper than normal books.
