look up the textbook you need and find the little link that says "new and used textbooks". its very reliable because you dont pay the actual seller of the book like you do on ebay. you pay amazon and amazon then pays the seller. this makes it very safe to use. i always use amazon for used textbooks.

Don't buy your books at the campus bookstore. It's best to find them used because sometimes you'll find that important things in the chapter are already highlighted for you -- making it easier to study!
