Can a Teacher wait on you to get your proper College Books?

i can't find this book on ebay or amazon and they don't have it on campus.. and i'm super busy to be looking around on different libraries... so do you think she'll drop me out of the class for not having the book%26gt;Can a Teacher wait on you to get your proper College Books?
I doubt your instructor is going to drop you from the class for not having the book.

I do think it's likely that you're going to be making Fs on any assignments that involve the book.

If the book is unavailable anywhere else, it's possible that it's a custom edition for this class and that you'll have to get it from the student bookstore. Can a Teacher wait on you to get your proper College Books?
Make sure you're looking for the correct book. Does your syllabus from class list the book's ISBN number? That's a number unique to that book, and you can use it on Amazon and etc. to do an ISBN search to find it.

Did you speak to someone at the campus bookstore? Did the prof order it in? Are they all gone, and are being reordered?

Call your college library. See if they can place it on reserve, if they have it.

Once you have this info and have done a proper search based on it, email the professor. Tell her the situation, including these details. Ask her advice.

Normally, the prof won't drop you from the class for not having the book. However, you will be expected to get the work done on time. That may mean that you have to share the book with another student until you get your own copy, or use the reserve copy at the library. But if you see that a delay in getting the book is going to impact you in the class, you need to speak to the prof about it.Can a Teacher wait on you to get your proper College Books?
Hey- The best place to rent or buy textbooks cheap is www.chegg.com. I rent from them every semester and I save at least $300 compared to school bookstore prices that are very high!

Chegg has a promotion going on where you can win some good stuff possibly a vacation so I would try there. I just rented mine today (didnt win the vaca though) :( LOL

Use coupon code CC102398 for a discount!
If it can't be easily bought online or through the bookstore, try ordering it through InterLibrary Loan (your library will do all the work for you). And let your professor (teachers in college are professors) know you're still trying to track it down, and see if she knows where else you might be able to get it. If you make it clear you're trying, she'll probably give you a break.
