How much do you get for returning books at a community college?

I applied for 2 classes at a community college and both the books cost 40 dallors each. How much would I get back if I sold them back?How much do you get for returning books at a community college?
Excellent Question I just did this last wednesday after my finals. What the bookstores tend to offer you is half the price if you bought them new and if you bought them used they most of the time offer you less. Then it also depends on if the professor will be using the book again during the next semester or if a new edition came out if this happens then they will not even take the book because it is irrelevant to them. And don't even try to get over on the bookstore at my school....If you buy a book on Amazon, EBay, or other cheap places to buy books don't try to sell them back to the book store because they can recognize it. I reccomend you keep some of your books because the money you get back is not really even worth it after you stand in line for all that time. I sold my critical thinking book back that was 65 dollars and I got back like 25 or 30 then I also sold one of my history books bakc that was 80 and only got like 35 back.. First, you are lucky to get them for that cheap. They will cost more as you go on. In the future I would suggest getting the ISBN number for your books and ordering then online. They can be 75% cheaper that way.



Getting back to your question, if you give them back to the book store you'll get something like 20% of the cost back. Do not expect it to pay for your next set of books.



Another thing you might want to do is ask around and see if you can find anyone that needs to take your classes next. You can sell privately for much more.How much do you get for returning books at a community college?
not very much at all. If you have an eBay account, I suggest selling it over that. You could sell it for 30ish, instead of only getting 10-20 for it
