I'm looking for reliable website to rent or buy books for college at a cheaper price. Any information would be helpful, especially if you've used the websites, thanks! Are there any reliable websites out there where I can rent or buy cheap books for college?
I mainly use www.half.com, that site is part of ebay. I have been using them for years and years...

Also I suggest www.amazon.com.

I never buy my books from school, I always buy online from most of the time half.com. Its the smartest way to go.Are there any reliable websites out there where I can rent or buy cheap books for college?
I would suggest using GreenTextbooks.org

Save Money, Save The Planet

GreenTextbooks.org specializes in the recycling of textbooks, DVDs, CDs. Buying used textbooks not only saves you money, but cuts down on greenhouse gases caused by the manufacturing of new textbooks.

With GreenTextbooks.org you're not only saving trees, you are saving some green. http://www.greentextbooks.orgAre there any reliable websites out there where I can rent or buy cheap books for college?

Good Luck!
Great question, the answer is absolutely! Just remember to get the ISBNs of the textbooks you need so you can make sure you're getting the right books. Often you can find a textbook company that offers what's called a textbook buyback program, which lets you sell back the textbook to the company you bought it from after you're finished with it. Sometimes, you can actually spend less money this way than renting the textbook.

There are also textbook comparison websites that will search the internet for you and find your textbook for the lowest cost, but check the website before you buy it to see if they have a buyback program. Here are a few links to get you started:
