I am keeping them because I am afraid I might have to relearn/review something some day. I am an accounting major. Is keeping your college books a good idea?
If you need them for future classes (i.e. some of my classes split up a book between 2 classes), then yes. If you think you'll need them for future references for other classes in your major, or even later on then yeah go ahead. If not get rid of them.
I found that I have no use for them and have held on to some in the past i thought i would use again. problem is, when they come out with newer versions and then you decide you don't want your books anymore, it's like impossible to sell and worth nothing. best to get ur money back now unless the book is really important to youIs keeping your college books a good idea?
It depends on what book. I am a communications major and I kept my AP style book. The other books I just rented them or sold them. Also, I would say that in 50% of my classes I didn't even bought a book and I got A's.
So, it is nice, but it is too costly and chances are that you will find the information on google or the content is going to be obsolete in a couple of years
If they are not accounting books and your major is accounting, get rid of them and get some money for them.Is keeping your college books a good idea?
No. Just takes up space, and you will never review them later on.
When you're done using them, just sell them.
Yes,my sisters frequently look back in old text books for things theyre learning now.
