Do you use AP books in college to study with?

Is it beneficial and easier to use AP books in college?Do you use AP books in college to study with?
Personally, I never felt AP books were that helpful with college courses since such materials is geared toward passing the advance placement test only. The actual college material digs deeper into the subject, especially in the upper division couses. Plus it goes at a different pace as it dives into a specific topic or area of study that some AP books may not get into.
