Just wondering what books u have to read in college and what books you like that are non-fiction.What are some books that you are required to read in college%26amp; what r some of your favorite non-fiction books ?
It depends on your major. Usually, it's something to do with your field. You might read a few books for an English/History class.
I have a slight bias towards economics. I liked the books that talked about the downfall of LTCM and Liar's Poker was decent also. What are some books that you are required to read in college%26amp; what r some of your favorite non-fiction books ?
It is really hard to say, I went to major in english and I got a ton of crappy blooks and good one... Wide sargasso sea, Beloved, Gullivers travels, beowulf, There is so much I cant even think... well I was impressed by frederick douglass' biography and the diary of a slave... or something like that!
Good luckWhat are some books that you are required to read in college%26amp; what r some of your favorite non-fiction books ?
Well, I'm an English major, so a lot of the books I've read you may not have to. I've read: Beowulf, Beloved, Mr. Spaceman, Blackwater, The Blood Oranges, Death of a Salesman, Gulliver's Travels, Notes From the Underground, Invisible Man, Surfacing, House of Mirth, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Scarlet Letter, The Diagnosis, Plato's Apology, and lots, lots more. As for nonfiction, I don't like to read it a whole lot because it seems to be mostly self-absorbed memoirs of people I don't give a damn about anyway!
