High school or college: laptop or books on the iPad?

Is the iPad going to replace the laptop?

Are you buying your college books on the iPad?

Does your school/college allow the use of such electronic gadgets?

The number of textbooks available for download is still limited. Do you expect there will be more text books available?High school or college: laptop or books on the iPad?
Get a small laptop so that it will give you more battery life. Don't buy ipad. It won't be able to give you satisfaction as laptop. Hope this helps....Byeee !High school or college: laptop or books on the iPad?
No, the iPad is defiantly not going to replace the laptop. Lets remember that most laptops have 3GHz + dual-core processors with about 8GB of RAM, the iPad only has 1GHz A4 chip and 356MB of RAM. Also the iPad doesn't run a proper OS and the touch screen keyboard is annoying to right on

No, the iPad doesn't even support most books. Plus, the iPad hurts your eyes and wrists if you have been using it for long periods.

Most likely not, because they might feel it is unfair that i have one and the others dont, also since the iPad is mainly a gaming device, it may distract students in class

Yes, but i dont see the iPad or eBooks replacing actual books for at least the next 15 years.

Hope this helpsHigh school or college: laptop or books on the iPad?
