What are good college course books for Mandarin Chinese and Korean?

I'm looking for college level course books that teach Mandarin Chinese and Korean from beginner level past second year or so skill level. A series that covers all the basics of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

I've tried to find books that are on-par with a Japanese college course series called Genki which does the above for Japanese language, but any book store like Barnes and Noble or Borders has absolute GARBAGE when it comes to learning a language and nothing but speaking tapes and worthless "learn a language in 10 minutes" books.

Where would I look and what do your recommend? Thank you. What are good college course books for Mandarin Chinese and Korean?
I found the 'Integrated Chinese' series to be the best text books that are used in most colleges. It is pretty comprehensive that covers all aspects you asked for. The best place to look is: http://www.cheng-tsui.com/

Here is a link to Amazon as well:

There is another book called 'Practical Reader' used in some universities, however, it is riddled with typos.

Integrated-Chinese is a popular book used by colleges. A lot of colleges also use New Practical Chinese Reader (Textbook). You may buy it at http://www.echinausa.com/newprchret1.html
