Is it rude or is it ok to ask online seller if college books are in good/fair condition?

My college bookstore sells a calculus book for $138..this girl is selling it used "with bookwork" for $35 through our class facebook page...is it okay is I ask her if it is in fair condition? $35 seems super cheap...I want to save as much money as possible, but I wouldn't want to buy a book that's in super poor condition either! Is it rude or is it ok to ask online seller if college books are in good/fair condition?
haha, you must not be from a metro area where people will sell you down the river for nothing. It is not rude at all to ask if the books are in good condition, you don't want to end up with a shaddy book with pages missing and ****, you want a good book that you can use, so ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable making the purchase. You can't trust anyone off the internet, and you always gotta look out for number one, so make sure you don't get suckered into paying too much for a cruddy book and getting ripped off.Is it rude or is it ok to ask online seller if college books are in good/fair condition?
You're buying the books. If you can't ask about the condition, you're bound to get a crappy product. Just ask. It's never rude, it's just being a smart buyer. Is it rude or is it ok to ask online seller if college books are in good/fair condition?
the customer is always right! if she thinks its rude then she loses her business and its probably in poor condition if she doesn't want to tell you.
It's not rude at all. You're the buyer.
