I already have plenty of books just giving basic stats about the colleges but what are some good books that give the real truth about the college? like what are the people like, what are parties like, what are classes really like, etc.

I would encourage you to visit campuses for yourself, that will give you the best indicator. OR, ask students who are currently enrolled. In the end, the books can only give a limited amount of information.
