Anyone ever sold their college books online?

My professor told me not to sell my books back to the college bookstore because they rip us off. So has anyone ever sold their books online, and how did it go? Anyone know any good, reliable sites? Thanks.Anyone ever sold their college books online?
Your professor is 100% correct. They buy it back for less than 50% of what you paid and then they resell it the next year for almost the same price as if it were new.

I use half.com. It is/was a subsidiary of ebay.com. There is no bidding involved. You list it and choose the book condition and it will recommend a price for you. You do NOT have to go with the price they recommend - you can choose however much you're willing to part with it for. If people like your book price, they will buy it (you get paid for shipping too).

Other sites include amazon.com.Anyone ever sold their college books online?
I discovered chegg.com. They are a textbook rental site that also buys books back. I made $40 more going through them than the college bookstore on my calculus book. Use Promo Code CC125732 to get an additional 5% back. They are amazing in customer service too.Anyone ever sold their college books online?
Selling online is great! Here's a website with different places to sell your books: http://sites.google.com/site/theeducatio鈥?/a>
