hello my name is reseegirl19 , I'm doing a research survey on how ppl feel about getting college books for discount. If You can plz respond to my question and h ave a nice day%26gt;What is a good website for college students to buy used books?
Sooooo many websites, the key is to know the correct ISBN number and to research (like window shopping at a Mall), first I go to bn.com (Barnes %26amp; Noble) amazon.com (Amazon) half.com (Ebay Text Books) the publishers website or sometimes even myspace or facebook where people are selling or trading text books for specific colleges/universities. The best bet I always have is amazon.com or half.com, but both take a long time to ship depending on the time of year, so if I'm in a rush I'll do bn.com pay a little more and get the books on time. What is a good website for college students to buy used books?
I would have to say: Half.com
It is an e-bay affiliate, so you can also sell your used books there also. The best way to search for books on the website is by the ISBN number. To find this look for the numbers below the bar code on the back of the book at your campus library, copy it down and then do a search on the website.

It is hard to find the books you want at a good price. Perhaps the local home campus has a bulletin board with the books available. Usually, I purchase books through Amazon because they have been reliable and I know what I am getting. If you could buy books at your home campus, it would be much easier and cheaper.
