What are some freshman college books?

I start college in february and I would like to read some books that freshman college kids read to see if maybe I can get a head start on the material.....I know its hard to say which college or what books I would be reading but if you've gone to college what books have you read freshman year?What are some freshman college books?
The books you read depend on what courses you're taking - it's not like high school where you read what's assigned in your English class and that's it. The only way to know would be to go onto your course registration page and see what the booklist looks like.

Person is right, it really depends what college and what class it is, the books are chosen by the instructors. if you have your schedule for your classes, just go to any college book store and they will tell you which books you need. if not try asking older friends in your surroundings. they should know what book each instructor uses.
